School’s Out! Volunteer Day

(Ages 11-18)

School’s out! Volunteer Day is open to all teens in 6th–12th grade. 

While connecting with other teens, you will learn more about The Gardens and additional teen volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. Earn logged volunteer hours while learning! 

Price type is “Participant” at a price of $0

What to Bring: We'll be spending a good deal of time outside so please dress appropriately and remember to bring:  

• Closed toed shoes
• Water bottle - we will have water refill stations onsite
• Comfortable clothing you are willing to get dirty and staying warm/dry/cool
• A snack - we will also have packaged snacks available
• Gardening gloves - if you don’t have them, we have pairs onsite
• Hat and Sunscreen
• Allergy Action/Care Plans if you have them available
• Any medications in labeled bags (If not self-carrying)
