Annie O’Brien Gonzales: The Bright Side Artist Workshop

Join Annie O’Brien Gonzales from The Lincoln Center Art Gallery’s current exhibit “The Bright Side” for a special workshop. 

The expressive floral/still life painting approach allows the artist to incorporate their own personal creativity through subject matter, color choices and composition to create exciting paintings. In this workshop you will learn about personalizing your floral/still life paintings through expressive choices. You will learn the following techniques: a methodical step by step approach to planning and creating a floral or still life painting, creating an expressive color scheme, developing innovative compositions, and critiquing your own work. 

 Notes to Participants: Annie is a full-time professional painter now living in Colorado. She shows her work in galleries and has taught painting workshops in her Santa Fe studio, at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Ghost Ranch and other venues across the country. She recently published two books on painting:  Bold Expressive Painting- Painting Techniques for Still Lifes, Florals and Landscapes in Mixed Media and The Joy of Acrylic Painting along with three videos on expressive mixed media painting through Northlight Publishing.
