Instructor: Melanie Yazzie, Contemporary Diné (Navajo) Artist, Professor of Art Practices and Head of Printmaking at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado
Saturday, July 20 | 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. | $150 In-person
Come join our exhibit artist to learn how to make prints with Gelli plates using stencils and symbols that represent something important to our life experience. The prints will create an opportunity that will help each member share a personal story about who they are. Experience the freedom to begin a journey of self-discovery of making art that helps express yourself in a new way. You will have a chance to create work that can go home with you, and the hope is that you will also have time to create a small series of work.
Note to participants: All materials will be provided
Registration will open April 1, at noon.
