Submerged Flower Photography

Instructor: Blue Moose Art Gallery Artist Stephanie Cox
Join us for a combination demonstration and hands-on workshop as we explore a unique approach to flower photography. By submerging flowers in water and introducing inks and milk, we will create luminous, dreamlike images that evoke fantastical scenes. We will begin with a live demonstration, sharing techniques, tips, and setup details. Each participant will then have the opportunity to create their own images with guided support. We will watch each other create and take turns with the set up. Along the way, we will discuss common challenges and how to manage them, while also learning to embrace the beautifully unpredictable nature of this process.
Notes to Participants: Participants who wish to take part in the hands-on portion should bring a camera and tripod. You should have a working knowledge of your camera.
