Artwork to Landscape: How to turn your favorite Art into a Garden
Sometimes it’s hard to create a garden design. In this class we’ll draw inspiration from our favorite artwork. Participants will transpose their favorite artwork into a garden. We’ll talk about how to take the structures of an art piece and create form in the landscape. We’ll create the colors of a painting by developing a plant palate. The final product should be a landscape plan with potential for installation in your home landscape. Come be inspired by art and create art in your landscape.
Notes to participants: Bring a printout of both a site plan or google earth image of their property or garden space and a printout of their favorite painting/artwork. You may email a copy to [email protected] to print.
