The Gardens on Spring Creek is Fort Collins’ community botanic garden. At 12 acres in size with year-round programming, The Gardens creates meaningful connections between people and the natural environment. As The Gardens celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are ever mindful that the world-class garden you see today is the result of thousands of individuals who have supported our mission along the way with their time, their talent, and their treasure.

Philanthropic support is critical to maintaining a high standard of excellence as we continue to spread out roots in the communities we serve Donations to The Gardens on Spring Creek are tax deductible and further our vision of becoming a world-class botanic garden that is community-oriented, educational, experiential, and sustainable.

  • Qualified Charitable Distribution from IRA 
  • Donor Advised Fund  
  • Appreciated Stock & Securities

The Gardens on Spring Creek is owned and operated by the City of Fort Collins.  Per IRS code 170(c)(1), gifts made to a local government entity are tax deductible if the gift is for public purpose.  However, acceptance of this gift is not an assessment of your particular tax situation and/or the donation’s deductibility under federal or state tax laws. Please consult your tax professional to learn more. 

 

100% of every gift made to The Gardens Is applied according to the donor’s intent and will not, under any circumstances, be absorbed into The City’s General Fund.
